Guided Tours

Hunting & Fishing Guided Tours

Grand County's local sportsmen can find the best spots to hunt and fish in Grand County with guided excursions for trophy fishing and hunting game.

Looking for something a little more private? Bull Basin Guides & Outfitters, LLC focuses their fly and lake fishing trips on one of three private waters to ensure a great experience for all participants. Fish for rainbows, German browns, cutthroat, or brook trout with some of the finest sportsmen around!

Located in the middle of the "Sportsman's Paradise" of Kremmling, Bull Basin also hosts hunting tours on private land, where you can bag big game like deer, elk, antelope, bears or even mountain lions with the pros.

More concerned with the game, and not necessarily the land you hunt? Badlands Outfitting specializes in leading fair chase hunts for mountain lions in Kremmling on both public and private lands. They can also help with elk or mule deer hunting tours, if that's what the group prefers.

Outside of Kremmling to the north, Bear Mountain Outfitters offers a fully guided hunting experience on over 10,000 acres of private land by the Continental Divide with world-class elk, deer and antelope hunting. Hunts begin in the fall with archery season, and continue through November to the end of rifle season.

Snowmobile, ATV & Jeep Guided Tours

Take a guided snowmobile tour of the Continental Divide with Grand Adventures or feel the wind in your hair on a jeep tour to jagged peak views in the summer. Whether you ride with Timberline Tours or another area outfitter, you're sure to have some high-thrill fun with some of the most jaw-dropping views in the Rockies.

Rafting & Kayaking Guided Tours

Some of Grand County's most incredible recreational activities are rafting and kayaking on the Colorado River. Kremmling offers some of the best rafting and kayaking through Gore Canyon, complete with rafting through the new whitewater recreational park, Gore Canyon Whitewater Park. Let our local guides lead you down the mighty Colorado River.

Liquid Descent takes you through the Gore Canyon, where you can keep a lookout for bighorn sheep, bald eagles and even the occasional moose in the surrounding wilderness. Or go with AVA Rafting & Zipline, where you can choose between mild floats to Class V rapids on five rivers in Colorado, some within an hour's drive of Grand County. Mad Adventures in Kremmling also offers incredible tours of the Upper Colorado River through stunning Rocky Mountain wilderness.

If you've seen Gore Canyon and want a different perspective from some of Grand County's waterways, try out Mountain Paddlers in Grand Lake or Red Tail Rafting in Fraser. Mountain Paddlers allows for a calm kayaking tour of Colorado's largest natural lake, Grand Lake, and its neighboring Shadow Mountain Lake.

Hot Air Balloon Tours

What's more special than watching the entire town of Winter Park and the Fraser Valley waking up from high above in the sky? Every morning at sunrise, Grand Adventures Balloon Tours offers tours that show off the true beauty of the area while soaring above the tree tops. Watch the sun come up while taking in beautiful views of nearby Rocky Mountain National Park, Winter Park and more.
