UPDATE 3/26/2025 

As consistently warmer weather sets in, Road and Bridge will switch to its summer schedule on April 7. Crews will be working Mondays through Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Significant snowfall will require crews to transition quickly from road maintenance to snow removal operations. Please be patient as we navigate through our unpredictable mountain spring!

As your friends and neighbors, our Road and Bridge crews are very aware of the poor condition many of our roads are in right now.

The unseasonably warm weather and rapid snow melt have left behind muddy messes throughout the County. And while we're tempted to put the equipment to work, graders don't have the desired effect on mushy, saturated dirt roads. We also know that more snow is in the forecast (it is, after all, only March).

Please be PATIENT with our crews and KIND to our foremen as they evaluate weather patterns and work around storms. Rest assured they'll be out in force as soon as it makes sense to perform road maintenance.
