Bucking Broncos and rodeo clowns are a fixture in Grand County, Colorado. From May to September, there is at least one rodeo event every weekend in Grand County, Colorado. That means bareback riding, calf roping, barrel racing, and bull-riding all summer long. With so many chances to take in the excitement of the rodeo even the biggest 'city slicker' can feel like a regular cowboy or cowgirl. Here are just a few of the regular rodeos we have each summer in Grand County:
Middle Park Fair and Rodeo
This annual rodeo has a rich history in Grand County with 100 years of fun. Come bring the whole family to watch barrel riding, roping, kids events and more.
Granby Rodeo at Flying Heels Arena
Join us for a boot-stompin', buckin' bronc's, calf-ropin' and bull ridin' during weekends in June and July at the Flying Heels Arena. Junior Rodeo starts at 3pm, followed by Open Rodeo at 7pm. For more information, contact the Destination Granby at (970) 887-2311.
High Country Stampede Rodeo
The High Country Stampede Rodeo season runs every Saturday night beginning July 2nd through August 13th, 2016 in Fraser, Colorado. Each rodeo night has a different theme all summer long from military appreciation to family fun night. Enjoy delicious bbq, watch roping and riding and have an authenic western night in the rockies.
