Sleigh & Hay Rides

What could be more memorable for the whole family than an "over the hills and through the woods" magical winter sleigh ride? How about a summery trot through fields of wildflowers and lush meadows framed by the towering peaks of the Rockies while relaxing comfortably in a bed full of hay?

In Tabernash, Cabin Creek Stables at Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa leads off-road wagon rides in the summer and horse-drawn sleigh rides in the winter, including romantic evening rides for two. Over in Grand Lake, Winding River Resort brings the spirit of the Old West to its fun-filled summer hayrides, and from mid-December, the resort ushers in the holiday season with sleigh rides. Last but not least, winter specialist Dashing Thru The Snow leads group and private horse-drawn sleigh rides on its property in Fraser followed by a campfire complete with hot cocoa and marshmallows.
