Driving Directions

From Denver by way of eastern Grand County
US Highway 40 from I-70 west, cross the Continental Divide over Berthoud Pass to enter through Winter Park and Fraser Valley.

From Denver by way of western Grand County
I-70 west to Silverthorne, go 38 miles north on Highway 9 to enter through Kremmling.

From western Colorado
I-70 east to Wolcott, north on 131 to State Bridge, turn right. Take Trough Road 25 miles to Kremmling.

Regional Bus Information

Greyhound Bus Services has a daily route between Denver to Salt Lake City with stops in Granby and Winter Park. Tickets may be purchased online at www.greyhound.com/home.

RTD Bustang Outrider connects from Denver through Winter Park, Fraser, Tabernash, Granby, Hot Sulpher Springs and Kremmling. Please see RideBustang.com/Outrider for current information and view the Craig-Denver Route for fares and schedules.

Amtrak

The California Zephyr runs daily between Chicago and San Francisco, coursing through the plains of Nebraska to Denver, across the Rockies to Salt Lake City, and then through Reno and Sacramento into Emeryville/San Francisco.

Catch the train in Denver or any other station along the route and make your way to Grand County, Colorado. The Zephyr stops twice in the county at the Granby and Fraser/Winter Park stations.

Reserve a spacious coach seat for your journey or, for a more luxurious experience, reserve a roomette or bedroom in one of the Superliner sleeping cars.

Grand County Airports

The Granby (Grand County) & Kremmling (McElroy Field) airports offer a convenient alternative to commercial flights for General Aviation enthusiasts. These public airports are the perfect place for private plane access to Grand County.
