North Central Colorado Scenic Loop
In 2014, the Grand County Tourism Board, Visit Fort Collins, The Cache La Poudre River National Heritage Area and Visit Estes Park collaborated to create a map, brochure, and webpage encouraging visitors to explore this unique part of north central Colorado. The Loop includes the Colorado River Headwaters Scenic and Historic Byway, the Cache La Poudre/North Park Scenic & Historic Byway, the Cache La Poudre River National Heritage Area and the Trail Ridge Road Scenic Byway.
The loop tour encompasses 360 miles and passes through plains, foothills, mountain passes, mountain parks, river corridors and diverse communities such as Grand Lake, Granby, Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling, Estes Park, Fort Collins and Walden. This often-overlooked region offers unique stories from the past, present and future.
Check out the North Central Colorado Scenic Loop brochure with highlights from each area, and an easily accessible webpage with traveler information.
