Elk Creek Campground and RV Park

Elk Creek Campground is located on County Road 48 in Grand Lake. This hillside campground has a prime location, mixing a true mountain camping experience with proximity to more than 60 restaurants, shops, bars and galleries at the Grand Lake Boardwalk. Elk Creek is a great fit for families and is pet-friendly. The campground offers hiking trails, fishing spots and an on-site playground and arcade for the kiddos. Guests also benefit from other campground amenities including a TV/recreation room with WiFI, a general store open seven days a week, laundry facilities, showers & restrooms, full hookups, water and electricity and a water dump out service (free to guests staying five days or more). Red Mountain RV Park

The newest RV campsite to open in Grand County, Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains takes Grand County camping to a whole new level. Idlewild Campground

Open late May to late September, Idlewild Campground is just one mile south of Winter Park on US Hwy 40. Here you’ll become one with nature in the beautiful Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests. At 9,000 feet in elevation, this campground offers 26 sites for tent or RV camping. The campground is equipped with picnic tables, restrooms, drinking water and is pet-friendly, provided that your four-legged friends stay on leash. Nearby, it’s all about mountain biking and music festivals.
