2. Blues From The Top
Taking place over two days in June at the Rendezvous Event Center in downtown Winter Park, Blues From The Top brings some of the best blues musicians from around the country to our musical corner of the mountains. In addition to the sets at Rendezvous, be sure to catch some of the more intimate night shows happening around town during the festival.
3. Grand Lake Fourth of July Fireworks
There’s no better way to spend Independence Day in Colorado than the Grand Lake Fourth of July Fireworks! The main attraction is the grandiose 30-minute fireworks show over the pristine water of Colorado’s largest natural lake, but you’ll also find plenty of fun activities and live music throughout town during this annual celebration. Pro tip: get out on the water and watch the fireworks from a boat!
4. Winter Park Jazz Festival
Hosted at Rendezvous Event Center in downtown Winter Park every July, Jazz Festival is a two-day celebration of all things jazz! The lineup typically includes a variety of world-renowned acts performing jazz, R&B, and soul music beneath an iconic Rocky Mountain backdrop. Winter Park Jazz Festival almost always sells out, so be sure to buy tickets in advance.
5. Granby Rodeo
Embrace the heart and spirit of the American West at this thrilling summer rodeo series at the Flying Heels Arena in Granby. With rodeos every Saturday in June and July (plus special events around July 4), the Granby Rodeo is the longest rodeo series in the entire country! Get some dust on your boots as you enjoy bull riding, barrel racing, mutton bustin’, and more.
